This page explains how you can request deletion of your 19News account and associated data.
How to delete your account
You can request account deletion using one of the methods below:
Option A (Recommended): Email us from the same email you used to register.

Option B: Use the form below (sends an email draft in your mail app):
What data is deleted
- Your account login (authentication record)
- Your profile information linked to your account (if stored)
- Posts/articles you created may be deleted or anonymised (depending on moderation/legal needs)
- Uploaded images linked to your account may be removed (if stored and linked)
What data may be retained
- Records required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes
- Backups may retain data for a limited period until they are automatically overwritten
Timeframe
We aim to process deletion requests within 7–30 days depending on verification and system workload.
