Limited launch offer
Claim 30 days free local advertising on 19News.au
Introduce your Australian business to local readers through reviewed banner ads beside community updates, weather, traffic, breaking news and city-based coverage.
Business profiles and ads are reviewed before going live. The free trial applies to eligible first-time monthly advertisers and follows 19News.au advertising standards.
Why this helps local businesses
Reach people where local attention already exists
19News.au is built around local Australian information: community reports, suburb updates, weather, traffic, safety notices, business stories and public interest articles. People visit local news pages because they are already thinking about their area, their plans and their community. That makes a local advertising placement more relevant than a generic social post that may disappear quickly or reach people outside your service area.
Who should claim the free trial?
The trial is suitable for Australian businesses that want to test local online visibility before committing to ongoing advertising. It can work for trades, cafes, restaurants, shops, professional services, local tourism operators, community organisations, clinics, gyms, education providers, repair services, technology businesses and other lawful advertisers. It is especially useful when a business wants to promote a website, phone number, booking page, local offer or service area.
How the process works
- Create your business profile. Add business name, category, logo, contact details, city, state, description and website.
- Wait for review. 19News checks the profile before advertising tools are fully enabled.
- Choose an eligible monthly plan. First-time monthly advertisers can receive the configured 30-day Stripe trial where eligible.
- Create your ad. Upload an image, choose an action button, add a destination URL or phone number, and set targeting.
- Submit for approval. Ads are reviewed before public display. Approved ads run while the trial or subscription is active.
What is included during the trial?
The trial lets eligible first-time monthly advertisers experience the normal advertiser flow: profile setup, campaign creation, city and category targeting, reviewed banner placement, call-to-action buttons and basic performance reporting. Trial access does not guarantee approval of every ad, instant publishing or unlimited placements. Plan limits still apply, and homepage placements require the correct entitlement.
Responsible advertising standards
19News.au does not accept adult, gambling, scam, fake alert, malware, impersonation or misleading ad content. Ads must not pretend to be emergency warnings, official notices, system alerts or independent editorial articles. Sponsored and advertising material is labelled clearly so readers can recognise commercial messages. These standards protect local readers and help legitimate businesses appear in a safer environment.
