Emergency services responded to a serious vehicle crash in Longford, northern Tasmania, after a car left the roadway and crashed into the front room of a residential property.

The incident occurred on Malcombe Street in Longford, south of Launceston, at approximately 2:40pm on Tuesday, 22 September 2026. Emergency services attended the scene after reports that a white Honda had crashed into a house.

Two people were travelling in the vehicle when the crash occurred. Both occupants were taken to Launceston General Hospital for medical treatment. Their injuries were not reported to be serious.
