will perform alongside his family at the Sydney Opera House in a one-night celebration of music, storytelling and cultural legacy. Veteran First Nations country musician Roger Knox is set to take the stage at the Sydney Opera House for a special one-night-only performance titled Generations and Dynasties. Joined by members of the Knox family, the concert will showcase a rich blend of country, rock and storytelling that reflects decades of musical tradition and resilience. Known affectionately as the "Koori King of Country" and once dubbed the "Black Elvis" for his striking stage style and charismatic performances, Knox has spent a lifetime using music as a source of healing and connection. At 77, despite health challenges, his passion for performing remains as strong as ever. He says music has helped him through difficult times and continues to open doors, minds and hearts. The upcoming performance celebrates not only Knox’s enduring career but also the intergenerational legacy of Indigenous music and storytelling. Through songs and shared family experiences, Generations and Dynasties will honour the cultural strength and artistic contributions of First Nations families in Australia.
