Man Charged After Alleged Robbery in Petrie - Petrie, QLD

He has been charged with robbery with violence, possessing a knife in a public place, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing utensils that police allege had been used in connection with drug activity.
The accused is due to appear before Pine River Magistrates Court on 25 September 2026.
The alleged incident occurred during the early hours of the morning in a public area along Gympie Road. Police investigations will consider the circumstances leading up to the alleged assault, the items reportedly taken and the evidence linking the accused to the incident.
The investigation may also involve witness accounts and other available evidence from the area.
The victim's injuries were described as non-life-threatening, and he remained in a stable condition after being taken to hospital.
