19-Year-Old Man Charged After Multiple Alleged Assaults at Casuarina Bus Exchange - Darwin, NT

The vehicle was allegedly damaged during the incident, including damage to its passenger-side doors and windows.
Police officers located and arrested the 19-year-old a short time later. He has since been charged with multiple offences arising from the investigation.
The charges include aggravated assault, damage to property, being armed with an offensive weapon and assaulting a worker. The allegations remain before the court and have not been proven.
Two of the alleged victims were taken to Royal Darwin Hospital for medical assessment and treatment. According to police reporting, they were later discharged from hospital.
Police said the alleged offender and the people involved in the reported assaults were not known to each other.
The incident has prompted attention to safety at public transport facilities and the risks faced by security and other workers responding to disturbances. Police have continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident and are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed what occurred.
