However, Edwards rose to head home from a late corner, sealing a thrilling 2–1 victory. Coach Craig Carley praised his team’s resilience after a demanding schedule that included an Australia Cup fixture earlier in the week. The win extends the Shepparton club’s record unbeaten streak to 11 matches and keeps them firmly in contention for the league championship.
