As of 7 May 2026, d’Albora Marinas has officially taken ownership of Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard (GCCM) — one of Australia’s most respected full-service marina and superyacht refit destinations. Darrell Barnett has been appointed General Manager, with shipyard veteran Paul Vernon (25+ years experience) leading the yard side. ‼️👀 And….. 2. for those of us who think the Broadwater needs more berths…. d’Albora is also progressing a major 14,000m² commercial marine precinct at their nearby Pacific Point Marina & Boatyard (the old Horizon Shores Marina at Steiglitz / Jacobs Well on the northern Gold Coast.) A new purpose-built precinct for boat builders, dealers, chandleries, and service providers — with long-term plans for 880 wet berths and 600 dry storage spaces in the region. 🙌🙌 Both these d’Albora precincts are significant developments for the Gold Coast marine industry, and for us boaties
