The 30-year-old forward, who played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs and represented the Queensland Maroons in 12 State of Origin matches, revealed the diagnosis after months of medical testing and treatment for persistent neurological symptoms. Arrow played 178 NRL games across the Brisbane Broncos, Gold Coast Titans and Rabbitohs during a distinguished decade-long career. He was named the Rabbitohs’ Player of the Year in 2025 and was widely respected for his leadership, toughness and community involvement. In an emotional statement, Arrow thanked his teammates, coaches and family for their support and said he will now focus on treatment, rehabilitation and spending time with his partner and young daughter.
