A 17-year-old boy has been arrested following the fatal stabbing of a 35-year-old man in Coffs Harbour on the New South Wales north coast. Emergency services were called shortly after 1:00am to an address on Gwydir Highway near Hay Street, where they discovered the man suffering significant stab wounds to his upper body. Despite efforts by paramedics, the 35-year-old man died at the scene. New South Wales Police established a crime scene and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Following inquiries, officers arrested a 17-year-old boy, who is assisting police with their investigation. A report will be prepared for the coroner as detectives continue to examine the events leading to the fatal attack.
