The 19-year-old was refused bail and was scheduled to appear at Burwood Local Court on Thursday, 24 September.
Investigators then carried out another operation as part of the same investigation. At about 6:10pm on Wednesday, detectives, assisted by the Southwest Metropolitan Operations Support Group, executed a search warrant at a property in Canley Vale.
During the search, police said they seized 51 grams of methylamphetamine and 9.7 grams of cocaine. Officers also allegedly located a dedicated encrypted criminal communication device and two tracking devices.
Police estimated the potential street value of the total drugs seized during the operations at approximately $30,000.
A 34-year-old man was arrested during the Canley Vale operation and taken to Cabramatta Police Station.
He was charged with eight counts relating to the alleged supply of prohibited drugs, participating in a criminal group and allegedly possessing a dedicated encrypted criminal communication device for serious criminal activity.
The 34-year-old was also refused bail and was scheduled to appear at Fairfield Local Court on Thursday.
The investigation remains ongoing. Police said two 24-year-old women had previously been charged in connection with Strike Force Arkoma and remain before the courts.
The latest arrests demonstrate that investigators are continuing to examine the alleged network and its activities across Sydney. Further inquiries may be carried out as detectives assess evidence obtained during the vehicle stop and property search.
