Two years ago, Kirk Morison considered buying an electric vehicle (EV) but ultimately decided not to because of concerns about range and charging infrastructure. In recent weeks, he's changed his mind. He's now among the many Australians who have decided to switch to EVs as petrol and diesel prices skyrocket. The Sydney resident, who is in the process of constructing a new home, began reconsidering EVs after noting the extensive battery and solar requirements for new builds. Skyrocketing petrol and diesel prices due to the war in the Middle East have accelerated the decision.
