A man who killed a Dubbo drug dealer during a violent confrontation has been sentenced to 17 years and six months in prison after being found guilty of murder.

Mark Peckham, 41, from Newcastle, was sentenced in relation to the 2023 killing of George Kirk in Dubbo, in regional New South Wales.
