Further search warrants were executed in Victoria on September 16 in Broadmeadows, Campbellfield, Mickleham and Donnybrook. The operation involved NSW Police Raptor Squad officers working alongside Victoria Police's Homicide Squad and VIPER Taskforce.
A 22-year-old man was arrested in Epping, while a 23-year-old man, a 26-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy were arrested in Donnybrook.
All four were taken to Melbourne West Police Station.
The following day, September 17, the four appeared before Melbourne Magistrates Court, where NSW authorities applied for their extradition. The application was granted, allowing the suspects to be transferred to NSW.
Police said the four were expected to be taken to Albury Police Station, where they would face charges connected with the investigation.
The arrests form part of ongoing inquiries into alleged organised criminal activity and firearm offences connected with the two Sydney shootings.
No injuries were reported in either of the August 31 incidents, although the alleged gunfire caused damage to a residential property and a parked vehicle.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police have appealed for information that could assist detectives.
The people arrested have not been convicted of the alleged offences. The allegations will be tested through the NSW court process.
