Four Charged After Police Bust Alleged $220,000 Cocaine Syndicate in Sydney - Sydney, NSW
Smart summary
Firearms, ammunition, cocaine and prohibited weapons seized during raids across Fairfield and Liverpool
Four people have been charged following a major NSW Police investigation into an alleged cocaine supply syndicate operating across Sydney’s south-west.
Taskforce Falcon detectives executed search warrants at properties in Fairfield and Liverpool at about 6am on Wednesday, 7 October 2026, following an investigation into the alleged supply of approximately 340 grams of cocaine, which police estimate could have had a potential street value of about $220,000.
The investigation, known as Strike Force Nelaro, was established in June 2026 by detectives from the State Crime Command’s Taskforce Falcon. Police said the investigation focused on an alleged network involved in supplying cocaine.
During the coordinated searches, detectives were assisted by the Raptor Squad. Police seized a range of items they allege were connected with criminal activity, including a gel blaster pistol, a long-arm firearm, more than 100 rounds of ammunition and knives.
Investigators also seized prohibited drugs, including cocaine. The seizure of firearms and ammunition has added further serious allegations to the drug-supply investigation.
Three men were arrested at Fairfield. Two of them were 18 years old, while the third was 21 years old. They were taken to Cabramatta Police Station for further investigation and charging.
One of the 18-year-old men was charged with 18 offences. Police allege the charges include multiple counts of supplying prohibited drugs, including allegations involving quantities greater than an indictable quantity and a commercial quantity. He was also charged with allegedly supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis and knowingly directing the activities of a criminal group.
Additional charges against the same man relate to allegedly possessing or using a prohibited weapon without the required permit, possessing ammunition without a licence or authority, and failing to comply with a digital evidence access order.
The second 18-year-old man was charged with two counts of supplying prohibited drugs, along with an allegation of possessing an unauthorised pistol and failing to comply with a digital evidence access order.
The 21-year-old man was charged with possessing an unauthorised pistol.
All three men were refused bail and were due to appear before Fairfield Local Court on Wednesday, 7 October 2026.
A fourth person, an 18-year-old woman, was arrested at Liverpool. Police charged her with supplying a prohibited drug in a quantity greater than an indictable quantity but less than a commercial quantity. She was granted conditional bail and is due to appear before Liverpool Local Court on 14 October 2026.
The operation forms part of ongoing efforts by NSW Police to disrupt organised criminal groups involved in the supply of illicit drugs. Police investigations can involve tracing drug movements, identifying alleged suppliers and examining financial and communications evidence to establish how criminal networks operate.
The seizure of firearms and ammunition is also significant because police allege the investigation uncovered not only drug-supply activity but access to prohibited weapons.
Police are continuing their investigation and have not ruled out further action. Anyone with information that could assist investigations into illicit drug supply is being urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
The allegations against the four accused people have not been proven in court, and they are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
