Riverstone detectives have charged three additional men following an investigation into an alleged stabbing during a brawl at a service station in Glenwood, Sydney’s north-west, in July. NSW Police announced the latest arrests on Wednesday, 23 September 2026, as investigations continued under Strike Force Velaro.

The incident occurred during the late evening of Tuesday 28 July, with police later called to Blacktown Hospital shortly after midnight on Wednesday 29 July. A 19-year-old man had presented to hospital with a serious stab wound to his arm. He was assessed by medical staff and subsequently transferred to another hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Following the initial report, officers attached to the Riverstone Police Area Command began investigating. Police established that the man had allegedly been stabbed during a brawl at a service station on Old Windsor Road, Glenwood.

A crime scene was established at the service station while detectives began gathering evidence and investigating the circumstances surrounding the confrontation.

As part of the earlier investigation, police arrested another 19-year-old man. He was charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Police said he was refused bail and remains before the courts.

Investigators continued their inquiries under Strike Force Velaro and carried out further police operations on Wednesday morning.

At approximately 7:10am on 23 September, detectives executed two search warrants at properties in Sydney’s north-west. One warrant was carried out at a home on Cadda Ridge Drive, Caddens, where officers arrested a 19-year-old man. Another search was conducted at a home on Leilani Street, Kellyville Ridge, where two men, both aged 20, were arrested.

The three newly arrested men were taken to separate police stations for processing. NSW Police said the 19-year-old was taken to Penrith Police Station, while the two 20-year-old men were taken to Riverstone Police Station.

All three were charged with four offences: wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm; using an offensive weapon in company with intent to commit an indictable offence; stalking or intimidating with intent to cause fear of physical or mental harm; and participating in a criminal group and contributing to criminal activity.

Police said all three men were refused bail and were due to appear before Penrith Local Court on 23 September 2026.

The charges are allegations and will be dealt with through the court process. The accused men are entitled to the presumption of innocence unless the allegations are proven.

The investigation remains ongoing, according to NSW Police.
