A long-running Darwin pizza business has expanded into a second location, opening a new store in Palmerston as it looks to serve customers across the wider Darwin region.

Fannie Bay Super Pizza, which has operated in Darwin since 1988, has opened its new Palmerston location on The Boulevard. The expansion represents a significant step for the locally established business after more than three decades operating from its original Fannie Bay location.

The new store officially opened on Wednesday, 11 August 2026, giving Palmerston residents a closer option for the business's established pizza and Italian takeaway menu.

The expansion follows growing demand from Palmerston customers who have traditionally travelled to Fannie Bay to purchase food from the original restaurant.

Business owner Neal Adams said the company had considered expanding for some time but waited until the right opportunity became available. The decision reflects the changing population and growing demand across Palmerston and the broader Greater Darwin area.

The new location is expected to operate with the same approach to food preparation, customer service and staff training used at the original Fannie Bay business.

Maintaining consistency between the two stores is an important part of the expansion. Customers familiar with the Fannie Bay restaurant will be able to access the same style of food and service at the new Palmerston location.

The expansion also represents another example of established local businesses responding to population growth in the Greater Darwin region.
