Adelaide is hosting the largest-ever Australian Tourism Exchange 2026, with more than 2,700 delegates, including 730 international travel buyers from 32 countries, gathering at the Adelaide Convention Centre. The event brings together 1,400 Australian tourism representatives from over 700 organisations, with more than 55,000 business meetings expected to drive future international visitation and investment. More than 80 familiarisation tours are taking buyers across 11 South Australian regions, including Kangaroo Island, Flinders Ranges, Barossa Valley, Coffin Bay and Coorong, highlighting the state's world-class food, wine and nature experiences. South Australian Tourism Minister Emily Bourke said the connections formed at ATE26 will help attract new visitors and support local businesses for years to come. The event is expected to inject $13.6 million into the South Australian economy while advancing the state's goal of increasing international visitor expenditure to $2.2 billion by 2030.
