Emergency services responded to a serious incident at an apartment building in South Coogee, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, during the early hours of Friday morning.
Police were called to an apartment block on Malabar Road at about 3:30am following concerns about the welfare of a 42-year-old man. Officers reportedly attended the building after receiving information that the man was inside a unit and had threatened to set the building on fire.
