The man was refused bail and was due to appear before the Bail Division Court on Friday.
Police say investigations under Strike Force Flodine remain ongoing.
The investigation forms part of broader efforts by NSW Police to target organised crime networks and identify people allegedly involved in serious criminal activity across Sydney.
Police continue to examine information gathered during searches and other inquiries as detectives work to establish the full extent of the alleged network.
