South Australia Police say a renewed multi-day search for missing four-year-old Gus Lamont at Oak Park Station near Yunta has failed to uncover any new evidence. Investigators revisited creek beds, waterways and previously inaccessible areas following recent heavy rain, hoping conditions may have exposed clues connected to the child’s disappearance in September 2025. Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke said more than 500 Crime Stoppers reports had been received and further aerial searches were planned. Gus’s parents described the ongoing investigation as an “emotional rollercoaster” as authorities continue to treat the case as a major crime.
