NSW Police have released CCTV footage as part of an appeal for information following an armed robbery at a business on Judbooley Parade, Windang, in the Wollongong area. The incident occurred in the early hours of 4 June 2026, but police released the latest appeal today, 26 August 2026.

Police allege a man entered the licensed premises carrying a knife and attempted to access a cash safe room. During the incident, an employee intervened and a violent confrontation followed before the alleged offender left the premises with cash.

The employee suffered injuries and was treated by NSW Ambulance before being taken to Wollongong Hospital. Another employee who was present was not injured.

Investigators from Lake Illawarra Police have been conducting inquiries under Strike Force Lamina. Police have now released CCTV footage in an effort to identify a person who was seen in the area around the time of the robbery.

Authorities are asking anyone who recognises the person or has information that could assist the investigation to contact police. Members of the public are being reminded not to approach anyone they believe may be connected with the incident.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no person has been identified or charged in relation to the alleged robbery at this stage. Any allegations will need to be established through the legal process.
