He was also charged with possessing equipment allegedly intended for serious criminal activity and failing to operate an unmanned aircraft within visual line of sight.
NSW Police said the teenager was refused release and was remanded in custody. He was scheduled to appear before the Bail Division of the Local Court on Tuesday, September 29.
