Two Men Arrested After Knives Allegedly Found at Salisbury Interchange - Adelaide, SA

Police said the 27-year-old man was also charged with unlawful possession after officers allegedly found property that did not belong to him. He was additionally charged in relation to three alleged theft offences and multiple alleged breaches of bail.
The 34-year-old man faces an additional charge of possessing equipment for use with a controlled drug. He was also issued an expiation notice relating to alleged possession of cannabis and possession of alcohol in a dry zone.
Both men were refused bail and were scheduled to appear before the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Friday, 18 September.
Police also issued both men with 12-month transit barring orders. Such orders restrict their access to the relevant public transport area for the specified period.
The incident occurred at a major public transport interchange serving Salisbury and surrounding northern Adelaide suburbs. Police responded after members of the public raised concerns about the alleged presence of weapons at the location.
