Police searched the man's possessions and allegedly found two folding imitation firearms, ammunition and an empty firearm magazine. Officers also allegedly located approximately $800 in cash and substances suspected to be cannabis, heroin and methylamphetamine.
The 28-year-old man has been charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited weapon, possessing ammunition, possessing property suspected of being proceeds of crime and breaching bail. Police said inquiries into the suspected drugs remain ongoing.
