Woman Injured After Ute Crashes Into West Tamworth Home - Tamworth, NSW

According to police, reports had been received about a white Holden Colorado ute being driven erratically in the area at around 10.30pm, shortly before the crash.
CCTV footage obtained by investigators reportedly shows the vehicle hitting a street sign before travelling onto the kerb and crashing into the property. Footage also shows a man leaving the scene shortly after the collision.
Police are appealing to the driver to contact investigators and provide information about what happened. Detectives have also asked members of the public who may have relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
The incident has left the affected home with substantial structural damage, including a large opening in the wall where the vehicle entered. Neighbours and family members have since rallied around the occupants, while work has begun to secure the damaged section of the property.
Police said the investigation remains focused on establishing exactly what happened before, during and after the crash. The circumstances surrounding the driver's departure from the scene are also being investigated.
Anyone who witnessed the vehicle in the area before the crash or who has relevant footage is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
