Director of News Justin Stevens is set to leave the broadcaster after nearly two decades with the organisation, including four years leading its news division. ABC management indicated the next appointment is likely to come from outside the organisation as the broadcaster continues broader restructuring and digital transformation efforts under managing director Hugh Marks. Stevens previously worked on flagship programs including 7.30 and Four Corners.
