The Wodonga Raiders have confirmed senior coach Chad Owens has left the club after about 18 months in charge during a difficult rebuilding period in the Ovens & Murray Football League. Owens departed after the Raiders informed him his contract would not continue beyond 2026, with premiership coach Kade Klemke appointed for the 2027 and 2028 seasons. The Raiders lost all 24 games under Owens and are currently on a 34-game losing streak, though club officials praised his commitment and effort during his tenure. Assistant coaches are expected to guide the team for the remainder of the season.
