A man who escaped from custody while receiving treatment at Cooma Hospital has been sentenced after his escape led to a dangerous police pursuit involving speeds of up to 130km/h.
Connor Aiken, 26, fled from custody at the hospital before allegedly stealing a vehicle and driving away. Police launched an operation to locate him after the escape, which resulted in a pursuit through the Cooma area.
