Former Sydney racing figure and convicted cocain* smuggler Damion Flower has been charged with fresh offences while serving a lengthy prison sentence at Long Bay jail. Police allege the 54-year-old intimidated and threatened a person known as “Witness A” and recklessly breached a non-publication order in incidents allegedly linked to Wellington in regional NSW during 2025. Flower appeared briefly in Sydney’s Downing Centre Local Court, with the matter adjourned until July 16, 2026. He is already serving a sentence over a major cocain* importation syndicate involving about 228kg of cocain* smuggled into Australia from South Africa.
