The story follows a couple, Filda Keci and Steven Wallace, who were on the verge of purchasing a home in Bronte marketed by high-profile real estate agent Alexander Phillips. The property was heavily advertised for its spectacular "ocean views."
However, the buyers were shocked to discover—after the initial stages of the purchase—that there was a pending proposal for a 120-unit development block directly behind the house. If built, this development would significantly obstruct the very views that justified the $6.2 million price tag. The "big problem" refers to the alleged lack of disclosure regarding this massive development project during the marketing phase.
