A serious workplace incident at a Queensland coal mine has left one worker dead and another injured after a large mining truck reversed over a light vehicle at the site.
Emergency services were called to the Peak Downs Mine near Moranbah in Central Queensland after the collision involving a heavy mining vehicle and a smaller light vehicle. The incident occurred during early morning operations, with emergency crews attending the scene and providing assistance.
