Public Safety Officers have expanded their presence in Alice Springs as part of Operation Ventura, a Northern Territory Government safety initiative designed to support police and improve public confidence in local areas.

The officers have been conducting visible patrols, community engagement activities and safety checks in public spaces across Alice Springs. Authorities said the program is focused on preventing crime, responding to community concerns and providing additional support alongside existing police services.
