Victorian motorists have been caught in a frustrating technology outage after a major Vic Roads system upgrade left drivers unable to complete essential transactions, including paying vehicle registration, renewing licences and accessing digital driving credentials.

The disruption began following a planned system upgrade over the King's Birthday long weekend, but technical issues persisted for several days, affecting millions of Victorians who rely on Vic Roads' online services.
